Overlook Bakery was born in a small farmhouse kitchen. When we moved our family to Woodstock, it immediately felt like home. For Rosie, baking and sharing dessert was the perfect way to express gratitude to our new community and the new friends inviting us into their homes.

In a town like this, there is always something going on. Be it a birthday or a bake sale, each occasion was another opportunity to try a different recipe. It wasn’t long before friends started asking Rosie to bake something for their own celebrations.

The momentum hasn’t slowed. In 2019 we started delivering our goodies one treat at a time. In 2021 we opened our first shop, just the two of us trying to figure it out. It was a real crash course. Now our kitchen is bustling daily with a talented team of beautiful people. They’re the best, and we couldn’t be happier with how the shop has grown.

We bake with love and intention, offering classic comforts with a creative twist. We think celebrating is what life is all about. We fucking love it and we’d be honored to help you celebrate your next special occasion. Whether it’s your big day, or a Tuesday, make it a little sweeter.
